As a solo female traveler for several years, I know what it feels like to be scared for safety reasons. That is why I decided to change this by creating HerShe Travels!
I imagined a world where women would not be scared to go explore the world by themselves anymore. Why? Because on the other side of the planet, another woman would be there, ready to welcome them or help them make sure their trip is going well. Yes, I believe in helping and empowering each other, especially when it comes to women. We live in a beautiful world but unfortunately, women are not always safe especially when far away from home.
My project includes two main elements:
Female homesharing
I connect solo women travellers with local women around the world, following a strict profile verification process. This connection will first be made individually, then through a platform that will be created when enough members are registered.
Travel coaching
I help women travellers with individual and personalized tips based on their specific project, through Skype meetings. Even though my speciality remains about travelling as a solo woman using Couchsurfing, I am happy to help any woman traveller.
