I have been travelling for over two years now, mainly by myself and using the Couchsurfing platform. Even though most of my experiences have been incredible, unfortunately I have heard many stories of women who didn’t get as lucky. Sexual harassment, inappropriate conduct, awkward situations with their hosts… this has to change!
The idea is born during my travels: what if we created a safe world where solo female travelers would meet local women around the world? YES, travelling as a solo woman is possible and it is about to become even more accessible!
